Deep Water Culture systems are the simplest method of hydroponics gardening.

Your plants grow within a tray - the tray stands in a reservoir of nutrient solution. The growing medium (usually Rockwool, coconut fiber or expanded clay pellets) has large air spaces which provide the oxygen needed for healthy plant growth. Also known as passive hydroponics.
